The human touch
needed more often than not
given less often than needed
infrequent as time goes on

When given however
it can light the soul
give belief in the intangible it
can be the poison apple

Can be the distractor
for the soul searcher
the piece de resistance
the all day smile

The yearn is so deep
the craving so strong
shall I take the bite?
