Wake up

Went for a ride today. My fourth since the surgery, heart, vacation thing. So right now it is low and slow. Crusing down the road, there was a charity ride going the other way, kind of funny watching everyone ride by. Weekend warriors racing each other. Met the Boss and Goldfinger, they turned around to meet me right in front of a group of weekend warriors. The Boss made it, Goldfinger however did not. Some guy was flying down the road trying to come by everyone and SMACK! The dude T - boned goldfinger, and dude goes full somersault lands on his butt. No road rash no broken bones, did break his helmet and his bike is toast. Ambulance took him away. I guess if you are going to hit someone, it is best to hit two paramedics and a mechanic. I think he will be oaky after he recovers from the hospital bill. Kind of covers it all. Sad.

People I guess need to wake up, some people get all fired up and do crazy stuff out there. Me included. I am just happy to be on my bike and have no interest in being in an ambulance anytime soon. I heard Lothar was tearing off legs on the noon ride on thursday. Dude is killin it. Oh well soon enough I will find my legs. A little base for July then start tuning things up in August. September will time to start getting cross crazy!

The tour is crazy, Gonchar wins the TT? I know the dude has palmares but damn. George chokes, Levi mailed it in, even Floyd was a little off I think. Who is going to take it? I think it will be a complete surprise. Makes you want to check in everyday though.

Be safe and smell the roses,
because its right under our noses.

Le tour de drama

Damn, this tour is crazy. Basso has swiss bak account's to pay for his dope I guess Simoni wasn't that crazy during the Giro, Valverde crashes, Freddie crashes, Kessler attacks again and gets rewarded this time. Boonen gets yelloe but can't finish the deal at the line. This is what I am talking about. Le Tour fantastique'! I can't wait to see what will happen tomorrow, that first TT will tell alot. I see good things for Floyd. The first mountain stage will be a free for all. Wow.
