Fill 'er up sucker

So, $200 a barrel eh? I am sure the straw house of Motown is glad to hear that. I am not trying to sat these are some good guys, you can thank W for giving them Harry Potter's power wand. And if you think Hillary is the answer, then we are all doomed to $6.00 a gallon, and don't think that shit ain't gonna happen. If we didn't need the sweet ebony crude to power our traffic jammed, solo driver, hummer lovin' asses around, these chumps would be hawking crack at the Mercado in Caracas and pimping opium and the the Tehran rave clubs. Seriously people. You want to blame someone blame yourself, we let W go on a 8 year John Wayne Gacy tear and drive this bitch straight into the ground. There isn't a democrat out there right now who could unmolest us from 8 years of prison love. Bums me out, we're are giving the kids a shit sandwich.

Not sure how this is going to play out, but these two dudes can't wait to see us on our knees as the dollar vaporizes and they say "sorry I got some in your hair, ha ha ha ".

Check it from C&L.

Oh yeah, CX not so good right now.

The long and winding road

McClaren has come and gone and once again I enjoyed what is arguably one of the harder CX races of the year. Lots of up, (running and riding) and lots of tricky down hill. I got a decent start, my legs came around but were not 100%. I had my best ever BASP race coming in at 12th. I felt that I could have been further up on a better day, but I have no complaints. I must say that the Flexus are working well and that I am not really impressed Mr. Dugast. I know that may sound like blasphemy, but that has been my experience. The start was mellow for a change, except EA was going agro and yelling at everyone and bulldozing his way through the field. Only to get passed half a lap later. I asked him about it afterward, I said what was up with the start you were going off? He said "I was?". I thought it was funny anyway.

Little man had a good race, just to finish that race was huge. He did, and he has done all three BASP's so far. I am the proud dad.

I started a little pot stirring today. I should have known better but, there were many complaints about people warming up and interfering with the racers. This has been going on for a while, but come on. Enough is enough. We have three women and one junior in that race and not one of them said anything about it. At some point they will shut the entire course down. Anyway, seems like people were being sensitve, but there are some crosstards out there who don't known what they are doing and get in the way of the racers and screw things up for everyone else. Anyway, I didn't make any friends but I wasn't trying to rub people the wrong way. Whatever. I am not sure why the BASP races always generate the most complaints about stuff. Anyway, our ladies rocked again! Anthony was on his way to another win in the B's and got a flat with 1 1/2 to go and had to run half of the course. Great Beer and BBQ as well. That's it for now. Might be racing in L.A. this weekend. We'll see.

Peace,
VJ
