This Muddy Life

Random Blog to no one in particular. Two week countdown, go back to work or go to jail. Cause if the Dr doesn't let me go back to work I will throw his ass out the window. Yeah I know, sounds strange, wanting to go back to work and all, but damn this light duty is killin me. Ain't nothing light about that duty brother. Send me back to the streets baby, livin on the edge runnin with the lights on, siren screaming, blood, fire and oh yeah 4 days. As in four days off, see ya. Tell em Tatoo, welcome to fantasy island. If you got that one, consider yourself old, my man. Firehouse life rocks, I love it. I even love cleaning the ivory throne and looking at the science experiments in the firdge, all that stuff. Nothing like a little 7 month trip down reality lane to make you relize that you have the most rockin job.

Well, got my sew-ups done today, running some sweet Dugast tires on Record hubs and reflex rims, so pro. Tight! I may have a short cross sseaon but it will be sweet. Lapierre-Ritchey Team CX style! Coyote Point this weekend. Rode there yesterday with the Champ, homeboy should be styled out in some stars and bars next weekend. Then he will be the champ! Breakin fools off proper. I only hope I stay in one piece. Damn, I would love to pull out a good race. Damn, I would just love to race! Got to represent on the home course. Life is going in eight different directions right now, and all I can think about is mud, mud, mud. No wonder I'm not a millionaire, see you at the races.

Sacto

Rolling into Sacto to my friend Todd's house. Large mansion should be on MTV cribs, livin big Willie style. We build up a sick CX bike from used parts and what not. Sweet. Now homeboy has to race it. Had him Chuck Yeager it down the street I followed him to make sure the nerf bumpers aren't needed, We then went to Sac state to watch some hoops. Cow town hoops rock. Kids had a great time. Yeah we have kids. Sucks being old. Something nice about kicking it at the game kids going crazy, just sitting back taking it all in. That is the life. Oh yeah, kids got to be in the half time show, they rolled around in the hamster ball. JJ won a t shirt and was pretty happy with himself. Happier when he was able to terrorize his pancreas with lots of sour candy. Went back to the Taj had some beers, listened to some 70's stuff that takes you back, not the drug stuff but the one hit wonders. Oh what a lonely boy! Blinded by the light! Oh what a night. Life was easy then. Beers help now though. Now I am tired. Shizz, sucks to be forty. Todd co. you rock.
